Hello and welcome to my online portfolio

My name is Aaron Riggs I was born in 1988 I live in North Carolina. I have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with emphasis on Computer Programming and Mobile Application Development. Some of the languages that I know are: C#, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, SQL, PHP, a little bit of C++, and MYSQL. In this portfolio I will show some of my work throughout my years in college and what I have accomplished through previous jobs and in my freetime.

I am currently searching for employment. I have worked from home (remotely) for the past 9 years. I started out working for the University that I graduated from 'Independence University'. The University ended up shutting down which lead me to working for NewNet Services as a Software Implementation Specialist. After a little while I moved up to Lead Software Developer, working with DevExpress and C#. The software that I worked on was bought out by MACC, I worked for them for a while as a Software Developer.

I have experience in creating Responsive Websites, IT Support, Developing Software - Games and Applications. I have a small amount of Experience with creating Mobile applications. I appreciate you taking the time and checking out my portfolio, I hope to speak with you soon.

Projects

Time Jump Game

This game was created for a game jam on itch.io, this is after two days of creating the 3d assets and coding. I used Unity, Visual Studios, and Blender to create everything.

Weight Converter

Weight converter program created in C#. Still had some bugs at the time; these have all been resolved.

Astro Jumper - Game

2d platformer game that I created. All drawings and mechanics where created by me. Not a finished product. Coded to work with a Xbox controller or keyboard. Animations and drawings were created by myself.

Brick Calculator

Brick & block calculator program. This program takes the length and height of a wall and calculates how many bricks or blocks is inside the wall. (made for brick masons or brick companies)

Howard And Son Lawncare - Website

Website that I created for a local company. This has not been deployed but the company is still interested in publishing the site. This is just a demo of the site.
